GlossWorks Detailed: 1973 Fiat 500
GlossWorks was contacted recently to perform a Paint Correction Detail on this classic Fiat 500 for the guys at Absolute Results Productions. This beauty was built in Italy in 1973, was sourced from the States and recently imported into Vancouver. Upon inspection, it was obvious that the car has seen better days. Years of driving and improper maintenance had led to the accumulation of swirl marks and scratches on the exterior, as well as some dents along the way.
Upon arrival at the office where the car is currently stored.
The interior was the first order of the day. Not too much had to be done in the cabin as the carpets and seats were in pretty good shape.
Interior after.
Haven’t seen a center console like this in forever!
Making sure to clean up all the dirt on the carpets under the seats.

Love the color-matched fibers in the floor mats.
Walked around the car to inspect the defects.
Lots of swirls built up over the years from improper washing techniques.
Started machine polishing on the hood to remove the top layer of defects.
Opened up the overhead door to inspect the hood in the sun. Looking much better after majority of the swirls were removed.
